Creating a learning culture

15.6.17

River's club Tyršovo nábrežie, Bratislava

It is important for us to connect people with different experiences, different opinions and with people from different sectors and countries.
Let all of us who meet on the ship be open minded and willing to share ideas of diversity and cooperation, and let each of us leave the conference a little bit better and richer.

The HR Leaders conference is an international event. Our guests come to us from Sweden, Germany, Portugal, the UK, Australia and the neighboring Czech Republic. Lectures and workshops will be conducted in either English or Slovak language (without translation). We believe that everyone will find their passions and areas of interest within the wide range of options at the event.

"Creating a learning culture"
We do our best to make people willing to constantly improve and develop

The speakers at this year's conference will provide you with a number of divergent views and give you ideas how you can "improve" - whether through an Agile approach in HR and "emergent learning" techniques (Pia-Maria Thoren, Sweden), simplifying performance management and identifying "high potential leaders" (Gene Johnson, UK), creating free working environments (Thomas Hajzler, Czech Republic), supporting the principles of Learning 3.0 (Alexandre Magno, Portugal), implementing mindfulness principles in business (Bruce Greenhalgh, UK) or leading HR management projects (and others) through the "Dragon Dreaming" approach (Ulrike Reimann, Germany) ... as well as many other inputs. program

The Conference will take place on 15/06/2017 at the inspiring venue of the River Club boat - www.riversclub.sk

Finally, they will present a case study - a project of designing and realizing their own office space. During the workshop you will be able to gain practical tips on how to improve the working environment for your own employees.

FRANK KOHL-BOAS

Are you ready for the VUCA world?

We live in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world. Changes happen often overnight. They are fast and unpredictable (Singularity University calls it the “6-D”: Digitized, Deceptive, Disruptive, Demonetized, Dematerialised, Democratized). Whilst the change is driven by technology, the challenge is one of human beings owning, shaping and adapting to the changes. To do so successfully requires a new way of learning, a new way of leadership and the willingness to develop and evolve company cultures which were often created in the industrial age. Frank will share with you some examples of how to face change in the different facets - creating a learning culture, displaying a needed leadership and creating a work environment allowing for the former two to happen.
